History of the college
Muzaffar Ahmed Mahavidyalaya
Muzaffar Ahmed Mahavidyalaya was established in 1986. The initiative was taken by a group of eminent educationalists, teachers and social workers of the locality. Government of West Bengal had approved the initiative and the institution was framed with the name of Muzaffar Ahmed, the great freedom fighter & eminent social reformer and was started its journey on 5th August 1986.
Mission of the College

- ⯌ To empower the first generation learners and underprivileged communities towards a better career path.
- ⯌ To strengthen the holistic development of the students through cross-disciplinary practices and collaboration with institutions of higher repute.
- ⯌ To guide the students not only in academics but also towards social services.
- ⯌ To ensure regular student activities through a well structured curriculum and continuous internal assessment.
- ⯌ To instill values of harmony, empathy, forbearance, solicitude, benevolence and sensitivity among the students so that they fulfil the duties as citizens with honesty.
